Mitchell Spiegel is founder and Chief Executive Officer of Enterprise Value Capital Management, LLC.
Mitchell has over twenty-seven years of leveraged finance and equity experience both on the sell-side and buy-side. On the sell-side from 1996-2008, Mitchell was a Managing Director and Senior Analyst in the DLJ/Credit Suisse Leveraged Finance group. Mitchell covered several industry sectors, marketed over 150 new issues and worked closely with the traders committing principal capital and managing desk positions from both the long and short side across multiple sectors. During his tenure on the sell-side, Mitchell earned the Institutional Investor (“II”) Top Ranked High-Yield credit analyst award in both the Consumer Product sector and Merchant Power sector. On the buy-side since 2008, Mitchell has worked at several hedge funds serving in various roles including Senior Analyst, Portfolio Investment and Risk Committee Member, Director of Investment Research and Portfolio Manager. During this time, Mitchell analyzed, vetted, recommended and managed long and short investments across a company's capital structure in multiple industry sectors.
Mitchell earned a B.A. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania in 1989 and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 1993. Mitchell earned his CFA from the CFA Institute in 1998.
Art Winston serves as a Senior Advisor to Enterprise Value Capital Management, LLC.
As a Senior Advisor to EVCM, Art brings over fifty years of investment management experience and wisdom to the firm. Art started his career at Irving Trust Company as a Research Associate in 1967. Over the next twelve years, Art worked at Merrill Lynch as a Securities Analyst and Rudman Associates as an analyst on their long/short equity hedge fund. In 1979, Art moved to EM Warburg, Pincus as a Securities Analyst and Partner. Art remained on the buyside for the next twenty-eight years, including sixteen years as a Portfolio Manager and Partner at Glickenhaus & Co. and twelve years as a Portfolio Manager at Pilot Advisors, a Registered Investment Adviser and Paradigm Investors a long/short equity hedge fund.
Art earned a B.A. in Economics from Duke University in 1965 and a M.B.A. from Columbia University in 1967.
